Denver Colorado Top 10 Best Selling New Home Subdivisions in Diverse Mix of Builders and Subdivisions.

David Laffoon, president of Home Builders Research Colorado, reported "There are probably only a few surprises found in the recent ranking of the Top Selling Subdivisions in the Denver metro area. But, for the most part, recognizable national builders topped the list."

Laffoon shared that, "Based on the first 9 months of 2010, the top selling subdivisions in the Denver metro 7-County area were grouped quite evenly apart for most of the top 10. Richmond Homes currently owns the top spot with one of this builder's Castle Rock area new home neighborhoods, but also holds onto the top spot by just 4 home closings over DR Horton's #1 community in Aurora."

He also shared that all of the top ranked subdivisions belong to national builders, with the exception of one dominate local area builder.

Of the 7 counties in the metro area, Douglas County earned 4 spots in the top 10 list of best selling subdivisions, while Boulder and Jefferson Counties did not have a representative subdivision in the top 10.

"The lowest average sales price in the rankings, shown on our website, is $197,000 for a Denver County subdivision, with the highest average of $461,700 belonging to a Broomfield County new home community."
