Denver Colorado - Top Selling Metro Area Counties

Home Builders Research recently published new home and lot sales data analysis reports for the Denver metro area, as well as northern and southern Colorado housing markets, according to David Laffoon, President, Home Builders Research Colorado. "Historically it has been not unusual for one or two of the seven Denver area counties to capture a metro area share of new home sales or closings in the mid to high 20% range," according to Laffoon.
He added, "the greatest share of new home sales was captured by Denver City and County at a 22% share of the metro wide total sales recorded in the first quarter of 2010. Denver and Douglas led all other counties with a 22.0% and 20.9% share of the total new home sales in the metro area."
