FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) November 11, 2011 --
Dr. Gary Radz and other Academy of Comprehensive Esthetics (ACE) dentists are working together to improve the dental health of select US servicemen and women. The ACE “A Soldiers Smile” charity events have recently been kicked off and are designed to give free restorative and cosmetic dentistry treatments to troops who may not be eligible for dental care otherwise. Dr. Radz is excited at the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of the men and women who risk their lives serving our country in violent areas of the world while spending years away from their families.
As the ACE dentists and association work to gain traction and attention to the cause decorated Navy veteran and celebrity talk show host Montel Williams has also helped to endorse the events. Montel Williams attended a recent ACE conference this past weekend in Scottsdale, AZ where he discussed the A Soldiers Smile events as well as the ACE dentists. Montel is a strong advocate for goodwill causes for our troops and his appearances on national television shows will help bring the attention these events deserve to help our soldiers.
In attention to helping needy troops with their oral health the A Soldiers Smile charity also aims to bring awareness to the fact that many of our returning troops are having difficulty securing appropriate dental care that helps them maintain healthy smiles. There are restrictions in place which limit the abilities of some vets to get the dental and other health care services they need. In fact, the law has restrictions on providing health care for veterans based on their condition in or out of service and their income level.
Instead of waiting for our government to make the appropriate changes to these laws, Dr. Radz and other ACE dentists are helping to make a difference today. Remember to thank a vet this Friday November 11th for Veteran’s Day.
