DermFX Offers Free Treatment For Breast Cancer Survivors during October

For the month of October in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month DermFX is providing a special opportunity specifically for breast cancer survivors. DermFX was founded in 2000 by Erin Alonso, R.N.P., M.S.N., F.N.P., and is one of the few 100% women-owned spa salons in Southern California. As the recipient of countless awards, including customer satisfaction accolades, they also believe in giving back to the community and women in particular and regularly contribute to many charities. During the radiation treatment that accompanies many breast cancer patient treatments, a small tattoo is permanently inscribed on the patient’s breast area. It allows for the most accurate focus of the radiation beam. Many times the radiation will defeat the cancer, but the tattoo remains. In the month of October DermFX will treat 100 women to have this tattoo permanently removed at no charge. In addition Allergan , one of the largest providers of spa treatment supplies, has generously provided 50 kits for Latisse Lash Growth System for the first 50 women that register. Latisse is an eyelash system that helps rejuvenate the hair follicles.

DermFX has locations in Sunset Beach (Orange County) and Redondo Beach (LA) and is accepting three patients each day for this free service.
