Despite the recession, Joolwe.com Online Jewelry Store Announces Jewelry Loyalty Reward Program

When asked why a company so young is confident enough to launch a program like this, Cheng says "Money is tight for many people but the reality is that people are still shopping and we wanted to say thank you." The program is designed to provide the customer with as many opportunities to earn the reward points without having to spend a dime. Reward points can also be earned by contributing to the Joolwe.com community -- writing reviews for jewelry you have purchased, subscribing to the company's newsletter and submitting approved original jewelry related article or story as a guest blogger. For a limited time, anyone who posts or blogs about the jewelry reward loyalty program will receive 30 gold points to spend in the store. Joolwe.com has selected a vast array of their jewelry to be redeemable for free, with many starting as low as 30 gold points. "This is just the beginning, more ways to earn and redeem your reward points will come soon," says Cheng.

Incentive programs like these provide shoppers with the promise of getting more for their money and it has proven to work. The recession is forcing many people to realize that their time and money should be spent wisely. The longer work hours, less money and multi-tasking that is plaguing many families has actually helped boost Internet retail sales. In fact, the top 500 online retailers sales increased 11.7% to $115.85 billion in 2008 from $103.69 billion in 2007 and Internet Retailer estimates the total retail sales market grew 1.4%. "Right now, I am looking for the best deal for my money and it seems like the Internet retailers are offering that," says online shopper Ivy Kessie.
