DFW AMA teaches Marketing Professionals the Importance of Customer Service

Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) November 2, 2011 -- Dallas/Fort Worth, TEXAS (November 2, 2011)– The DFW American Marketing Association (DFW AMA) will host “Lead with LUV: A Different Way to Create Real Success” on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at 11:15 a.m. at Bent Tree Country Club in Dallas. Marketing professionals will learn how Southwest Airlines has made its employees understand they are in the customer service business but happen to provide airline transportation.

Colleen Barrett is President Emeritus for Southwest Airlines (SWA), a high frequency, low-fare, point-of-point airline that prides itself in its excellent customer service qualities. Barrett will present the following learning objectives at the upcoming DFW AMA Dallas Executive Luncheon:

• How SWA became a marketing company
• How SWA’s culture came about
• Five leadership expectations SWA sets for its people, and
• Who SWA’s customers are in terms of importance
