Expert in communication and event production will lead a workshop and appear on a panel at this extensive Chicago special events conference
Dianne Budion-Devitt, a leading voice in the event production industry, will participate in The Special Event 2013, which takes place from Tuesday, January 15 through Friday, January 18, 2013, at McCormick Place in Chicago.
As part of this special event planning and production conference, Budion-Devitt will teach an intensive workshop on Wednesday, January 16th, called "Project Venue: Implementing Strategic Event Design to Your Meeting or Event." This four-hour class will focus on how planners can strategically make deliberate choices to design a live communication experience based on their business objectives. "An event professional's responsibility is to understand the function of design in relation to their company's business objectives and goals to create a live experience with emotional and branding impact," Budion-Devitt said. "Telling a story and delivering a message, especially in a face-to-face environment, is necessary for a successful event," she continued.
In addition to leading this workshop, Budion-Devitt will participate in a panel discussion entitled "Keys to Attracting Leads, Clients, and Sales." During this session attendees will learn methods and techniques to find actual leads and discover how to close sales. Along with other industry veterans, Budion-Devitt will share her story and successful sales skills with the audience. This panel will take place on Thursday, January 17th.
