FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) December 20, 2011 -- Studio City, CA, 20-Dec-2011: If you want to do something amusing without, wait for September 19th – you can dress, talk and act like a pirate on this day .Los Angeles (Press Release) December 5, 2011 - ‘Talk like a Pirate day”, is the amazing brain child of buddies Summers and Baur. It started out as a joke when one of them said ‘aaarrr’ involuntarily while playing racquet ball in 1995. The popular humour columnist Dave Barry was amused by the idea and decided to use his column to popularise the idea. Soon, September 19th became a popular holiday.

Mark Summers, who incidentally has a Psychology B.S and MSW degrees to his name, got together with Clay Clement to co-author ‘Pirate Santa’. It will be huge a relief to parents on the fence about “Talk like a pirate day” to know that the book is a magical blend of pirate adventure and valuable ethics every child ought to learn.

This is what Talderoy aka Clay Clement had to say about the book when Style Coven dropped by Clement’s Studio City Tattoo Shoppe, “I wanted to leave my kids with something special when I am no longer around. I guess you could say that this is for them, but it really is for kids and parents everywhere.”

The story is about a pirate dad, his little Ninja and Pirate Baby girl and a mermaid. Mermaids may capture the attention of girls but it is adventure that captures the imagination of boys. Pirate Santa is meant to capture the attention of both at the same time impart the importance of value systems like integrity and honesty.

The early colonial age, was a golden era for Pirates Caribbean. Some of them were actually legal pirates. Unable to control the pirates infesting the beautiful Caribbean, the Monarchs of Europe allowed private ship owners to strike ships belonging to enemy countries. A part of the rich booty had to be turned over to the government. These Pirates Caribbean or swashbuckling ‘privateers’ as the captains were called were also called buccaneers as they used open fires or ‘buccans’ to cook the wild pigs they slaughtered.
