After first working together five years ago HOTA invited Digifish to work with them once again to shoot new and update footage that promoted their range of courses and to create video content for their 25th anniversary.
Digifish produced six three-minute films and one 20-minute film in total in some challenging environments. Digifish shot the footage across two sites in Hull and on-sea.
In order to showcase the range of courses that HOTA offered Digifish filmed out in the North Sea on life boats, they also filmed on a fire training ground and under-water to capture footage of HOTA's dunker. The ˜dunker' is a helicopter simulator that gets dropped into a pool and spins around whilst people try to escape.
Due to the nature of the project Digifish were able to utilize many different filming techniques including a steadicam, dolly tracks and under-water filming.
The York-based video production company worked alongside HOTA from the initial conception through to the conclusion. Pre-production included script writing and storyboarding for each of the different films.
The films are set to play a major role in HOTA's marketing activity. They are available to view on HOTA's website or on DVD and will feature heavily during the quality training provider's upcoming 25th Anniversary dinner in March.
