The company had been formed less than two years before and was still operating as a one man enterprise. Stewart Spencer who formed the company and who is now company Chairman said “I was very impressed by Kayle’s enthusiasm and could see a spark in him that I thought could be utilised to the benefit of the business”. Stewart presented Kayle with a commemorative glass engraved tankard during the evening.

As the company developed, taking on new products and offering more services, Kayle took a full part in the decision making processes. Displaying an ability to understand the technical aspects of whatever new equipment and software that was installed. This included the initial floppy disc products and printing and duplication equipment. At this time, Dischromatics had created a niche in the market and was the only company in the world with the ability to supply fully finished picture printed floppy discs.

Over the early years, the company moved into CD Duplication, DVD Duplication and printing services. In 1995 Dischromatics bought a company manufacturing computers and providing computer maintenance contracts and networking in the Newport and Cardiff areas. Increasing the workforce and the technical knowledge within the business, again Kayle was able to demonstrate his ability to learn and widened his own knowledge, eventually leading the production our own computers which the company installed in many schools, local authority and private enterprises as well as within the company itself.

Eventually, reverting back to its roots, Dischromatics moved away from computing and back to digital and optical media, partnering with the largest CD Replication, DVD Replication and Blu-ray Replication manufacturer in Europe. With Kayle’s increasing technical ability, he was able to oversee the successful installation of a new state of the art in-house duplication and printing suite. The company has continued to expand this area of the business.

Since the turn of the new millennium, Dischromatics ability to stay ahead of the opposition must be accredited to all the new management team, who now have an average age in their low thirties and is at degree level. With the inclusion of a High end Digital Printing facility to print packaging for the CD and DVD Duplication, specialising in helping small groups and bands and also Variable Data Software for use with Personalisation of products for Direct Mail which greatly improves the Return on Investment for companies wanting special marketing with practical pricing.

Dischromatics services now include DVD and Blu-ray Authoring for creating menus, subtitles, chaptering, and interaction and more, also Creative Graphic Design for logo design, web design and branding.
