The Midwest's premier readers' and writers' mystery, romantic suspense, thriller and dark fiction conference, Love is Murder on Dark & Stormy Nights, returns to Chicago next Feb. 4-6 at the Intercontinental O'Hare Hotel in Rosemont.

The three-day program includes presentations by renowned authors Rhys Bowen, Joseph Finder, Joan Johnston, F. Paul Wilson, Carolyn Haines and Jon Land, local guest of honor author Michael Allen Dymmoch, Fan of Honor Scott Doornbosch, and Ghost of Honor Chester Gould; Midwest Writers of America (MWA) Writers' Track; intimate master writing classes with Carolyn Haines and Joan Johnston; manuscript critiques; one-on-one Pitch-a-Palooza with agents, authors and publishers; networking with authors, readers, fans, agents, editors and publishers; panels, exhibits, expert demonstrations; evening entertainment like Blood Bingo and Stump the Stars; and much more.
