Disney's 2010 Armed Forces Salute Draws to a Close

(Free-Press-Release.com) July 21, 2010 -- Lake Buena Vista - Disney's Armed Forces Salute will not be extended. Sales at gate and military base ticket offices will come to an end on 8/31 and all tickets expire on 9/30. Existing exclusive military discounts on all Magic Your Way ticket products are unchanged. This refers to discounted park tickets available at Shades of Green or your local Base’s ticket office.

Walt Disney Parks Public Relations confirmed to MilitaryDisneyTips.com that this year's Military Salute will not be extended. When this offer ends 30 September 2010 it brings to a close 21 months of great savings for US Military Members in Disney's theme parks and resort hotels.

During this period all three major Orlando Florida theme parks (Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, and Sea World) offered discounts to the military community. Universal Orlando's Military Salute ended on 26 March and confirmed to MilitaryDisneyTips.com in April that they have no plans for further offers. Meanwhile Anheuser-Busch's theme parks including Sea World in Orlando will continue to give free admission to military members and their families through the end of 2010.

There is no information yet on any Military Salute offers for 2011. Check with MilitaryDisneyTips.com often for up to date information on military discounts and packages that do become available at Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, and Sea World in Orlando as well as the Shades of Green Resort and other Orlando area hotels.
