District 4 residents are off and running with its Citizens District Council

(Free-Press-Release.com) February 22, 2010 -- Tameka Ramsey - Resource Development Coordinator for OLHSA will be among a long list of leaders and residents attending the second meeting of District Four's Citizen District Council. The meeting will focus around the platform of City Councilman Randy Carter with special emphasis on safety.

"I campaigned on four elements - blight reduction, the understanding of our tax system, dealing with our resident's apathy and most importantly, safety in our community" Carter said. "Each month our CDC will focus on one of these four elements."

Confirmed leaders for this event are Mayor Leon Jukowski, County Commissioner Tim Greimel, Fire Chief Jeffrey Hawkins, Precinct Delegates Erik Engnell, Yohannes Bolds and Brenda Carter, Sam Scott -Aid to State Representative Tim Melton and Margaret Kilburn - President of the Highwood LeBaron Neighborhood Watch Association.
