The BETA version of DJmag Canada BETA website (www.DJmag.ca) launched on 3rd Jan. Another winner from IHM GLOBAL MEDIA CORP

IHM GLOBAL MEDIA CORP is pleased to announce that the DJmag Canada BETA website (www.DJmag.ca) launched successfully as scheduled on January 3rd at 12:05am. We are happy to see the Canadian dance music scene in a phase of such exponential growth, and equally as excited to join the party, and celebrate electronic music with Canadians nationwide.
Photo sharing from your favorite parties is now active, featuring images from Canadian events coast to coast brought to you by the country’s top promoters including Bal en Blanc/Playground Productions, Boodang Music, Connected Entertainment, DNA Presents, Ink Promotions, Mars Events, Produkt, Sound Republic, and Union Events to name a few. The albums published to date feature A-list international artists such as Avicii, Axwell, Carl Cox, Chris Lake, Cosmic Gate, Dash Berlin, Deadmau5, Gareth Emery, Green Velvet, Hardwell, Porter Robinson, R3hab, and Skrillex.
The DJmag Canada Podcast featuring DJmag resident Sam.Iam promises to please after amazing reception of the inaugural edition, episode 001 “Best of EDM 2011”. Sam will host a variety of talented Canadian electronic acts on the podcast, which will explore amazing music across the wide range of electronic genres currently being produced across our great country.
Editorial content covering the Canadian and global scene will start to flow on www.DJmag.ca beginning in February, with a portfolio of experts contributing weekly. In addition to features covering the scene across Canada, a number of recurring themes will also appeal to a varied audience nationwide, including: DJ/Production technology review, Canada’s Top 20 under 20, a series on music festivals, production school 101, and of course, loads of new music.

A mobile version of the DJmag Canada website will be available in the spring along with the DJmag Canada app for iphone/ipad/android. These will be released just in time for the first edition of our digital weekly magazine, DJmag Canada Weekly. This digital edition will feature the best of editorial content from the Canadian scene, as well as videos of your favourite events, artist interviews, bangin’ new music, and lots more! The print edition of DJmag Canada is scheduled to hit shelves in November, when we celebrate the DJmag Top 100 list which promises to be filled with Canadian talent this year.
