DODGING DISASTER: BUILDING OWNERS & MANAGERS INVITED TO INTERACTIVE “DISASTER EXPERIENCE” TO PREPARE FOR PROBLEMS

Lauderdale & The Palm Beaches and Miami-Dade, will bring “The Disaster Experience,” an unforgettable half-day workshop, and industry trade show, to South Florida on Wednesday, August 24 from 1:30 – 7 p.m. at Signature Grand, 6900 West State Road 84 in Davie.

The cost to attend is $85 for BOMA members. Non-member Commercial Property Managers to either local association are welcome to register on-line at www.bomaftlpb.org no later than August 17. Non-members and walk-ins will not be admitted.

“This is one of our most anticipated events that brings cutting-edge live disaster simulation with hands-on learning and decision making guidance to building owners and managers,” said Stephanie Rodriguez of Duke Realty, President of BOMA FTLP. “Attendees will leave with new insight, tips and the confidence to handle many emergency situations and potential disasters.”

The event will be led by nationally recognized facilitator Bob Mellinger with the Attainium Corporation, a veteran in helping corporations and organizations in testing business continuity, emergency response and disaster recovery plans.
