(Free-Press-Release.com) September 15, 2010 -- Once again, Dog-toberfest will be incorporated as part of Berwyn's Oktoberfest celebration. Berwyn's Oktoberfest is celebrating its 10th Anniversary and continues to draw in crowds from all over the Chicagoland Area. This popular event is estimated to bring in approximately 10,000 people.

The two days of fun will feature food vendors, crafters, a beer garden, amusement rides, children's activities, musical performances AND a special dog-friendly area!

The Dog-toberfest area will feature a "Doggie Beer Garden" where your pup can play in the sprinklers, get a bath, and then snack on Pupcakes & Doggie Brew! There will also be vendors, a pet psychic, a caricature artist, and many more fun & exciting things for your pooch in the main Vendors and Activities area. Also, free Gift Bags will be given out each day to the first 75 families who stop by The Urban Mutt booth, so hurry over!

Of course, we can't forget about fun for humans, so you'll be able to get henna tattoos of your dog and there will be an agility area that will put the skills of owners and dogs to the test!

Also, this year's featured shelter is Waggin' Tails Animal Shelter, which is Cicero's Animal Care and Control and currently takes in dogs from Berwyn as well. The great thing about this shelter is that it's a no-kill facility. As our way of saying thanks, we'll be having a raffle at the event with some great prizes such as a Mark Buerhl autographed White Sox Dog Jersey and a Mike Ditka autographed Bears Dog Jersey. 100% of the raffle proceeds will be donated to Waggin' Tails Aminal Shelter.

So be sure to bring the whole family out, including Fido, for a great day of food & fun!

Dog-toberfest and Oktoberfest is Friday, September 17th from 6PM to 11PM and Saturday, September 18th from Noon to 11PM.
