Doha Precast Factory (DPF) participates in Mesaieed Area Beach Cleanup Day

(Free-Press-Release.com) December 22, 2011 -- (Mesaieed, Qatar) 22 December 2011 – As part of Doha Precast Factory (DPF)’s social responsibility endeavors, 12 joined the over 450 volunteers from 24 private companies and Qatar Petroleum subsidiaries to take part in the second Mesaieed Beach Clean-up Campaign organized by Mesaieed Industrial City (MIC)’s Municipal and Facilities Services Department, earlier this month.

This was MIC’s 2nd annual beach cleanup day, and DPF’s QA/QC Manager, Mr. Rajarethinam, says that this will be a yearly commitment from the DPF staff: “It was a rewarding experience for our team; as a member of the Mesaieed Industrial City & Qatar Petroleum, we consider this service a responsibility towards our community. It also suited perfectly as a gesture in honor of Qatar’s National Holiday.”

The participants removed garbage from both sides of the Sealine Resort and outside Q-Chem company with the goal that “nothing remain[s] on the beach” at the Campaign’s conclusion. Head of Municipal Services Adel Ghaith al Tamimi and the Department Manager Maliq Aldafea expressed their appreciation to the event organizers and participants.
