FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) June 17, 2011 --
‘Every challenge contains the key to opportunity’ according to Galway-based author and Business/Personal Advisor Geoffrey Canavan.
However, for many business and individuals, finding that key presents a challenge in itself but that particular challenge is one that Mr Canavan can help with.
Geoffrey Canavan believes that you already have what it takes to deal with any situation and to transform your results in any area and has created a range of unique success and solution-focused products, services and strategies for forward-thinking businesses and individuals..
A prime example of Geoffrey Canavan’s philosophy at work was the recent Domino’s Pizza ‘mea culpa’ advertising campaign in the USA. Domino's, with some 9,000 worldwide, launched an ad campaign, both on television and across the internet that was really critical of the company’s core product. These ads sent a simple message: We were wrong. We're addressing the issues. Give Domino’s pizza another chance.
‘I'd be lying if I told you I didn't have a knot in my stomach the day that advertising launched," says Domino's CEO Patrick Doyle.
But Domino’s got it right because their brave and honest media campaign resulted in a rise of 10.9% in the company’s net income for the first quarter of 2011.
‘This is really significant and a real endorsement of the power of realism’ when you consider that the norm is 1% to 3% growth’ Geoffrey said.
Patrick Doyle, CEO and President of Domino’s Pizza, based in Michigan, will join Geoffrey Canavan on his radio show ‘The Power of Realism – Why Integrity Matters’ on the VoiceAmerica Business Channel on June 23rd to talk about his experiences of integrity in a very competitive business environment.
Every Thursday at 6pm GMT (10am PST) Geoffrey interviews high profile contributors from the world of business, technology and other areas. Experts from prestigious global companies such as Domino’s Pizza, PwC, HP, Grant Thornton and Sony share their experience of the Power of Realism. Geoffrey and his team are also joined by leading thinkers, writers and specialists in areas as diverse as art, fashion, music and emotional intelligence for an eclectic, inspiring and thought-provoking mix of views, opinions and experiences.
Geoffrey Canavan’s latest book ‘See you on Venus – letting go of your investment in limitation’ is about releasing blocks to freedom, success, choice, happiness and completion.
Former MD of Sony Ireland, Jerry Flynn called See You on Venus‘ A must read for business and individual decision-making.
Geoffrey Canavan’s one-to-one business counseling service provides decision makers and key personnel with a safe space to discuss, explore and create innovative and effective solutions.
“The Power of Realism – why Integrity matters” is a new enterprise designed to enable organisations to release the true potential of their business success by using experiential learning to demonstrate that realism is vital and integrity really matters in business today.
His 14 part ecourse – available on www.geoffreycanavan.com – is called Why Did You Leave Me Behind?
‘Why Did You Leave Me Behind? aims to reconnect you with the life you were born to live, the happiness you were born to enjoy and the success you were born to experience’ Geoffrey explains.
Describing Geoffrey Canavan’s programs, Brendan Foster, partner in Grant Thornton said; ‘He offers a powerful and simple process for recalibrating critical thinking in order to identify sustainable solutions and develop a clear, success-focused strategy for managing any level of change in every area of business and life.’
