Don't Let Swine Interfere with School or Home (Tips to Keep the Family Safe During Flu Season)

2. Hand washing is critical to staying healthy at all times. Use plenty of hot water and soap.

4. Try not to spread germs and stay home when sickness occurs.
5. Make sure symptoms are known when feeling ill. There are many symptoms to watch for such as: runny nose, fever, coughing, chills, and fatigue.
6. Try not to panic and be proactive. Call a doctor immediately so treatment can occur.
These tips are meant to help keep swine flu at a minimum and hopefully prevent it. It is a very serious and critical situation, but one that can be controlled when proper steps are taken. Being proactive is of utmost importance, especially when children are involved who are around others at school.
