The "PEACE DAY" Global Internet Broadcasts originating at www.peaceday.tv and presented by Unity Foundation, WE The World, Xeden, and their Peace-building Partners have been viewed by millions of people around the globe. The 2009 and 2010 Broadcasts have streamed live from the official website of the United Nations and simultaneously on more than 2,000 websites of organizations throughout the world. Anyone can embed the "Peace Player" to carry this year's broadcast.

The purpose of the Broadcasts is to promote the vitally important work of humanitarian agencies, and UN related organizations throughout the world working for peace, the environment, human rights, social and economic justice.

This year's broadcast, themed "Peace is the Goal", will give major focus to the achievement of the United Nations Millennium Development Goals by 2015. The broadcast will be presented from September 11th through September 21st (the United Nations International Day of Peace.)

On June 13th, The "PEACE DAY" 2011 Global Internet Broadcast will be Launched with a Program Preview, marking the 100 Day Countdown to Peace Day. The Preview will focus on the MDGs, Forests, dangers of Nuclear Power, and the need to create Safe and Sustainable Communities.
