Dr. Kaipa shares secret of long-lasting success and happiness with Indian Technology Professions on occasion of India's Republic Day organized by GITPRO


More than 100 Indian technology professionals attended an event organized by Global Indian Technology Professionals Association (GITPRO) (http://www.gitpro.org) in the Silicon Valley on the occasion of India's Republic Day of India.

The formal inauguration of the event by lighting a lamp(symbolizing spread of knowledge) was done by Dr. Prasad Kaipa, a strategic advisor, management guru and a coach to CEOs board members and senior executives. On occasion of the Republic Day, Dr. Kaipa commented that India's is already super-power, it's just matter of having a right mental model to perceive it. However, India's realization of the rightful role in the global scenario would only happen if India follows the ancient wisdom based on coexistence and cooperation. He gave an example of a Kashmiri phrase saying one-plus-one is eleven and not two and that can happen only when one Indian can stand next to another without worrying about position of 10s or 1s and without disrespecting other. He concluded that such unity in diversity that overshadowing the differences would take India back to its glory.

Dr. Kaipa, who was also the invited speaker for the event gave an insightful and entertaining talk on the topic: 'Be Successful in 2011: Find your key to the success'. Seeking to depart from the usual self-centered nature of success, Dr. Kaipa emphasized that the true nature of success lies in helping others to be successful. He described the 3 C's of long-lasting success: Compassion, Character and Contribution. Using the analogy of Chakras -- the force centers of energy in humans according to traditional Indian medicine, Dr. Kaipa described how ultimately stress-free success can only result through love and surrender. In parting comments and answering eager questions from the audience, Dr.Kaipa mentioned how ancient Indian management principles, intended to impart the widest encompassing success for all creation, hold the key to unlocking the complexities we encounter in personal and professional life.

During the event, Khanderao Kand, founder of GITPRO, launched professional mentorship program with an appeal to the audience to be ready to help others to succeed by coming forward to mentor as wells a coming forward to seek help by contacting info@gitpro.org . Earlier Nitin Shroff, coordinator of Silicon Valley Chapter, presented GITPRO as a leading networking platform from Indian Technology professionals with chapters in Silicon Valley, Contra Costa Valley, Seattle, Denver, Virginia-Washinghton DC, as well as Pune and Bengaluru in India. During the event an informative video about India's phenomenal rate of growth and its increasing stature in the global arena was presented. Dinesh Neelavar who presented the video, also conducted a survey and discussion of audience's perception of India's growth statistics.
