Dr. Klaus Werner has joined the Center for Security and Emergency Management (C4SEM) as member of the Board of Directors.

Dr. Werner is an emergency management expert and has 11 years of combined experience in managing and supporting Continuity of Operations (COOP), Continuity of Government (COG), Test Training and Exercise (TT&E), emergency management, and contingency planning programs for a wide range of federal government agencies.

As a seasoned and accomplished professional, he has worked with the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS), US House of Representatives, US Department of Labor (DOL), US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), US Department of Agriculture (USDA), and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

Dr. Werner has a rich experience both as a planner and in operational roles focused on maintaining Continuity of Operations and Continuity of Government at the Departmental and Agency levels.
