Dr.Mahaveer Mehta Dubai based Dermatologist honoured with ‘Glory of India award’

United Arab Emirates -- Free-Press-Release.com-- Nov 27, 2011 -- Dr.Mahaveer Mehta well known dermatologist has been awarded the 'Glory of India Award' and 'certificate of excellence' by the India International Friendship Society (IIFS). He was felicitated at a 'Friendship banquet' on Nov 18, 2011 in Dubai.

The award was presented in Dubai on Nov 18th 2011 by H.E.Brigadier Darwish , Dr.S.Gurumadhava Rao Vice Chancellor of RAK Medical and health sciences University United arab Emirates, and Formar CBI chief H.E. Jogindra singh at the banquet. Ceremony was attended by large number of Dignitories and guests from all over the world. The award ceremony was organized by India International Friendship Society.
The award was presented persons from India for their developmental works in various fields. The award carries a certificate and a plaque.

IIFS is a voluntary organisation driven by the patriotic objective to forge unity among resident and non-resident Indians and create interest for investments in Indian projects.

The advisory committee of this award consists of eminent Indian scholars, economists, industrialists, , engineering experts, MPs and retired army generals.

Dr.Mahaveer Mehta ia currently working as a Dermatologist and Medical director in his own medical center in dubai since 1990, Prior to this he was Chairman of the Dept. of Dermatology at Qatar armed Forces medical unit and Chairman of Dermatology at International Hospital Bahrain. Dr. Mehta is internationally well known in the field of Dermatology and Lasers. He is a pioneer in introducing Lasers to the Middle East. He is successfully practicing in UAE since 1990. His clean reputation is not limited to just UAE but spread across seven seas. He is one of the strongest promoters of Health Tourism in Dubai. Dr. Mehta is a faculty member and Speaker at several international dermatological and laser conferences. He is a member of Several Dermatology and Laser societies in the world.He is a recipient of prestigious awards such as Physician Recognition Award from American Medical Association and Continuing Medical Education Award from American Academy of Dermatology and Former Member of the editorial board of Gulf medical college health journal.He is also selected as Mentor for (ITMP) International Travelling Mentorship programme of (ASDS) American Sociaty of Dermatologic Surgey . Dr.Mehta’s mission is to reduce the incidance of Skin Cancer and its harmful consequences on individuals by preventing , early diagnosis and prompt treatment of skin cancer can "spot and stop" skin Cancer in most cases.He has organized several events in his efforts to provide health awareness and saved many lives.
