Dr. Martin Zaiac will be a featured lecturer at the American Academy of Dermatology meeting. At this gathering for leading dermatologists Dr. Zaiac will be giving three talks and teaching one course.

Dr. Martin Zaiac will be a featured lecturer at the 71st annual Meeting of the American Academy of Dermatology held in Miami Beach March 1st - 5th 2013. This is the largest most important information exchange and gathering for leading dermatologists from around the world. Dr. Zaiac will be giving three talks and teaching one course.

First Dr. Zaiac will be giving a demonstration of the latest EHR (Electronic Health Records) software specifically for dermatologists called EZDerm. œThis is particularly fulfilling, said Dr. Zaiac, œbecause EZ derm was invented by a former student of mine, Dr. Srdjan Prodanovich who designed the software to help patients and streamline busy practices like we have at GMSL while complying with the new federal regulations for health records.

EZ Derm will help our patients by allowing them to do things like access the new Miami Skin and Laser web portal to see lab results as soon as they are posted, ease the appointment process, and simplify the forms new patients have to fill out. This software allows documentation visually in seconds of patient history, the printing of patient instructions on the fly, the ordering prescriptions at the patient's favorite pharmacy while they are in the exam room, and much more.

Another topic will be on Difficult Wounds in Dermatologic Surgery. This lecture is designed to help other dermatologists better deal with these types of potentially serious complications.

Dr. Zaiac's third talk will be on the Hydrafacial, a revolutionary liquid skin resurfacing procedure that provides cleansing, exfoliation, extractions, and hydration, including Vortex-FusionÂ® of antioxidants, peptides, and hyaluronic acid in one quick painless step.

The doctor along with colleague and noted dermatologist, Dr. Antonella Tosti, will also be teaching a course during a pre-meeting for conference attendees. Dr. Zaiac and Dr. Antonella Tosti will be lecturing on nail diseases seen in systemic disease.
