1995 Baylor College of Dentistry graduate, Dr. Misty J. Brown, receives prestigious American Award for her contributions to the Dental Profession

The dentists who receive this award are committed to dental excellence by constantly pursuing higher educations in their field. Dr. Brown, in addition to being a wife and mother, completed over 1000 hours of continued education in the past 12 months. Dr. Brown began her solo private practice in 1995. Her educational journey began in her hometown of Dalhart, Texas. Her family moved to Fort Worth and she was givien the opportunity to attend Fort Worth Country Day School. The superior academic environment at Fort Worth Country Day accelerated her collegiate experience and allowed her to graduate from Baylor University in 3 years. During her dental school years, Dr. Brown was Vice President of her Dental Class and a member of the Honor Council.
