Ross has been integral in high value improvement realisations and customer service improvements in a large number of business & financial companies. These results have been obtained in retail, commercial and investment banking clients, both life and general insurance organisations as well as shopping mall management, mortgage institutes and credit card providers. Processes have been redesigned to ensure “value” is delivered to the “appropriate” customers.

Ross has had extensive experience with manufacturing processes involving Aluminium, Glass, Building Products, Joineries, Carpets, Dairy Industry, Timber products, Food, Clothing and Air-conditioning to name a few. This experience has also been right across the core processes from “order to delivery”.
Transport, storage and communication
Ross has actively managed projects in this sector focusing on warehouse layouts, storage requirements, distribution requirements planning, high level process analysis, establishment of key performance indicators reporting requirements, and the co-ordination of standardised engineering project management skills/processes for a multi-national petroleum manufacturer/distribution/retailer.
Telecommunications, electricity, gas and water
Ross has been involved in the electricity, gas and water supply industry in excess of 10 years. His experience spans re-engineering, core or support functions as well as organisational effectiveness. He has recently been involved in assisting newly formed corporate entities streamline their operations.
Mining & quarrying
Ross has grown up with mining and has had first hand experience “at the coal-face”. He has been involved in all areas of the process from Sales/Marketing through to production, preparation plants, and grade and production control. This practical experience has ensured that any theoretical solutions are always reality tested rather than routinely applied.
Construction
Ross has worked over the last 10 years in this area. With work spanning from Project Management to establishing “best practice” for processes to forecasting/predictability modelling for customer demands.
Wholesale/retail trade & restaurants/hotels
Ross has had a critical role in over 20 wholesale/retail/trade projects which have been involved with the redesign and implementation of customer service centres, “best practice” sales management processes, strategic profitability analysis and rationalisation of markets/products/customers/distribution channels, supply chain optimisation, establishment of central distribution centres, standardisation and documentation of operating procedures, productivity reviews including implementation and realisation of savings, debtors collection process reviews and general operational effectiveness and efficiency improvments.
Agriculture, hunting, forestry and fishing
Ross has been heavily involved in the Forestry sector. He has completed projects right across the supply chain from market segmentation, customer service, product rationalisation, demand planning, supply planning, manufacturing, warehouse storage and distribution requirements planning through to preventive maintenance planning.
Health, community, social and personal services
With the rationalisation of the Health sector, Ross has taken the opportunity to capitalise on this with a number of projects that he has instigated and managed. These have involved a focus on customer service and a reduction in backlogs while simultaneously reducing costs to the organisation. These projects have covered the improvement of productivity in specialised medical areas such as radiology, surgery and mental health centres as well as support service areas like filing, admissions, fee payments for the services provided and supply chain projects like warehouse requirements and supplier partnering.
