Facial hair to head transplantation is a derivation of body hair to head transplantation. The latter, which is an advanced form of follicular unit extraction (FUE) , harvests donor hair one follicular unit at a time from almost anywhere on the body. This includes the beard, shoulders, chest, stomach, arms, and legs. A patient reaps the same benefits as with FUE, with an even broader donor pool.
