Dr. Thomas McMahon Barnegat Created Business Simulation For South Western Publishing

Dr. Thomas McMahon Barnegat, a salutatorian at high school, obtained scholarships like Freed Foundation, Garden State Scholarship and George Link Business Scholarship. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/ Political Science from the Monmouth University, with a 3.91 grade point average out of 4. He is a certified teacher and holds certification in different teaching areas including Nursery School, Social, Business studies and Elementary School. He received his Masters of Arts degree in Educational Administration & Supervision from the Jersey City State College. Apart from this, he also holds an Educational Doctorate from Rutgers University, with a 4.0 cumulative average.

Dr. Thomas McMahon Barnegat served as a Business Education Teacher in the Toms River Regional School District from 1986-1989 and in the Wall Township School District from January 1986 to June 1986. As a Business Education Teacher he participated in the creation of a South Western publishing. He also designed an entrepreneur program with students. Thomas was honored with the Sallie Mae National Teacher Award, an honor given to the top 100 first year teachers in the United States. Furthermore, he became the youngest Assistant Commissioner of Education in Finance for the State of New Jersey. Thomas served as the Superintendent of Schools in three districts and started new programs, such as High Schools and Middle Schools That Work.

Dr. Thomas McMahon Barnegat is a friendly person who lives in Toms River, New Jersey. Prior to his stay in Toms River, he was a resident of Barnegat New Jersey. He has built a successful career through his hard work and optimistic attitude. He is a well-known Superintendent for the Barnegat Township School District a five school K-12 school district. During his young age, he served as an Assistant Commissioner of Education in Charge of Finance. Thomas has set a record in history by becoming the youngest Assistant Commissioner of Education in Charge of Finance in the State. In addition to this, he held administrative positions in Toms River School District and the Plumsted Township School District. He has learned a great deal during his experiences in New Jersey School districts.
