Dream Dress Event, California’s Largest Sample Sale of Wedding Gowns, Launches in the Bay Area

(Free-Press-Release.com) March 12, 2010 -- Berkeley, Calif. - March 12, 2010 - An average American couple spends in between $20,000 to $25,000 on a wedding and 10% to 25% of their budget is for the wedding gown. In today’s economy, however, couples are tightening their belts and looking for ways to do more with less. With this in mind, Dream Dress Event is providing the opportunity for brides-to-be to save thousands of dollars.

Dream Dress Event will launch California’s largest sample sale of wedding gowns on Sunday, March 21, 2010, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn at 2000 Bridgepointe Parkway in San Mateo. The event is free and open to the public.

“The purpose of having Dream Dress Event is to gather wedding gowns from all over California so brides will have wide selections with best possible prices,” said Betty Lin, co-founder of the Dream Dress Event. “As a bridal business veteran, I have seen brides try out gown after gown at several different bridal retailers and still not finding their perfect dress. This event will help brides save, time and the hassle by allowing them to compare different brand names and styles all in one place.”

At Dream Dress Event, we have gathered over 1,000 sample designer wedding gowns that will be listed for as low as $249. In addition, there will be a contest drawing for a Kirsty Kelly the Sleeping Beauty Jewelry Set valued at $500 for one lucky bride-to-be. The winner will be announced at 10AM before the sale starts. If the entrant has not arrived at the venue by 10AM, the prize will be awarded to the next drawn winner.
