(Free-Press-Release.com) August 22, 2010 --
Dreamcatchers for Abused Children is proud to announce their leading ladies; Sandra Dawn Potter, Donna Kshir, Laurie Ann Smith and Elizabeth Brawley, whom received a personal invitation from Director and Festival Producer, Benford Standley, to attend The State and Fate of Children in Paso Robles, California, November 19-23.
The Paso Robles Digital Film Festival is a Salute To Children and Youth, across the United States. The PDFF strides to shed light on the darkness that children suffer in, and honor those who expose the truth. The PDFF wants to honor some of the great people that dedicates their time, energy and life to cover these concerns on film, television and the Internet.
This fabulous foursome are well known for their work and dedication to children's rights. During their quest, the Potter and Kshir co-wrote several books in hopes of educating the public on the signs, symptoms, prevention and recovery of child abuse. To show their support, the writing duo recently dedicated, "Extraordinary Confessions of Child Abuse" to The State and Fate of Children, The Pas Robles Film Festival and their non-profit organization, Dreamcatchers for Abused Children. For each book purchased a donation will be made to Standley and Potter's cause.
The concept behind their books is to give them (the books) the look and feel of an old, forgotten journal, that has been hid in your grandmother's attic for many years, full of dark family secrets, just waiting for the truth to be heard. Both women stressed, they wanted the books to look warn, as well as contain rough edges and little imperfections, inside and out, to complete the concept.
Each of the four women stated, they are "excited" to attend the festival, and each have only "gratitude" and "respect" for Standley, whom is dedicated to the millions of homeless, runaway and missing children, autistic children, abused children and those falling between the cracks in our society.
