FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) May 10, 2010 -- Sterling Heights, MI – May 10, 2010 – The DIME (Diagnostic Information Management Environment) system has now successfully reached the two year milestone of data collection in US National Guard fleets. DRIVE has been working with the National Guard in support of various programs all aimed at improving vehicle readiness and maintenance. DRIVE Developments, Inc. celebrated the two year anniversary earlier this year and has now recently expanded operations from PA into other states. DRIVE Developments continues to work to gain access to this type of data on MI based vehicles.

In 2008 DRIVE announced the first successful demonstration of an end-to-end diagnostic system to the US Army. Since that project DRIVE has been building a database of real world vehicle usage information for use on future projects and to form the baseline for enhanced diagnostics and prognostics. DRIVE’s lead or get out of the way policy has enabled them to stay ahead of much of their competition and to drive technology forward. “With our young men and women fighting overseas we all have a responsibility to provide them with the best possible technologies”, said DRIVE Developments Inc CEO Larry Osentoski. “Our approach has always been to move forward and to put products in front of the people who are going to rely on them as quickly as possible.” said Osentoski.

The young company is comprised of a team of engineers with over 50 years of automotive market experience. This experience, along with recent project success makes DRIVE one of the premier providers of onboard diagnostic technologies in the market.
