DSKSIC Game Kshetra 2011 Gaming Tournaments- Preliminaries at Ahmedabad

The thirds season was flagged off on 10th September at Netzone, Bangaluru where 100 gamers of 20 teams thronged to battle it out for Counter Strike 1.6. The fierce battle ended with team Sync emerging victorious.

The stupendous gaming energy generated by the launch of this biggest gaming competition has encouraged the hosts, DSK Supinfocom to spread out to a larger expanse throughout the country. Consequently, the pro- gamers from all major cities – Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai, Indore, Hyderabad, Nagpur and Ahmedabad - will now have a chance to prove their mettle at Game Kshetra 3.

Ahmedabad gamers to play CS 1.6

Counter Strike is famous for the culture surrounding it, which includes everything from professional gamers and leagues. Counter-Strike 1.6 remains extremely popular to this day. There are currently professional online leagues supporting Counter-Strike. There have been a multitude of games claimed by their developers, reviewers and fans to be "Counter-Strike killers," but none have seriously been able to dent its overall popularity.
