(www.GAORFID.com) is offering its 433 MHz active standard reader/writer which is well-designed for easy set-up, configuration, and use. It is widely used in such applications as access control, asset tracking and inventory control.

This easy-to-use active reader/writer, model 214026, receives RFID data transmitted by a tag and sends the information in real-time to a host computer. It features dual frequency method that allows for fast and more reliable communications. The transmit frequency is 433 MHz and the receive frequency is 916 MHz, 927 MHz, or 868 MHz. The transmit distance is 30 m while the receive distance is 85 m. The standard reader/writer sends a power-up message to the host software once it is turned on, the host computer then displays the RFID field generator's address and allow the user to modify it.
This reader/writer provides multi-tag read capability and communicates with a computer via interfaces including RS232, Ethernet and WLAN. Two input contacts for door sensor inputs and request to exit contacts and two output relays for electric door strikes, magnetic locks, CCTV, lights, and sirens are also provided. All communication packets use parity bits and cyclic redundancy checks to ensure data integrity.

This 433 MHz active standard reader/writer belongs to GAO’s family of 433 MHz RFID active readers. A featured product in this line is 433 MHz Active RFID Reader with RS485 / RS232 which is typically used in an environment where the tag has to be very close range to the reader. This line also includes 433 MHz.
