This UHF RFID laundry tag is specially designed for use in retail, garment rental and laundry operations to improve efficiency, as well as high inventory accuracy. This UHF Gen 2 passive RFID laundry tag, model 116413, utilizes industrial standard technology to meet the extreme demands of laundry tracking. It meets the extreme demands of rotary ironing and other requirements in terms of heat, pressure and chemical resistance as needed in contactless garment tracking applications in the textile and laundry industries. This tag features non-line-of-sight data transmission which allows it to be identified without the need for visual contact. It allows for multi-detection and has a flexible read/write range from 0.5 to 1.5 m depending on the RFID reader. It is encapsulated within sealed PPS and epoxy materials allowing it to withstand the harsh conditions of various cleaning methods. In addition, with a thickness of 2.2 mm, the flexible Gen 2 RFID tag is easy to attach to garments, towels and bed sheets.
