In order to earn real income on eBay you have to have a few hundred listing going at a time. eBay fees can really eat into your profits. Having a eBay store not only reduces your listing fees significantly but illistrates to the buyer that you a re serious seller. After all you would feel more secure buying shoes in a mall then off the street wouldn't you?

2. Drop Ship.

Having to box and ship is time consuming and expensive. If you develop the right drop shipping sources, you can sell hundreds of items per month without shipping anything. There are many other models, but this one is ideal for a seller with not much start up capital.

3. Write a Good Title

An effective title is everything. You can sell items at even a higher price than your competition if you know how to write the title properly. When writing a strong title don't think of it as "flowery" content. It is rather strategic content.

Example: If two people were selling the exact same pair of Nike sneakers who would succeed?

(b) Nike Sneakers High Tops Jordans Basketball Sports Tennis

Letter (a) would only have a 50/50 chance of selling when the keyword "Nike sneakers" were searched. Any other relevant keyword search would result in (b) appearing but not (a). (b) would dominate the sales in this situation.

4. Will You Take Care of Me?

Recent research has shown that the critical component a buyer wants to see in the description is how much the eller is going to take care of the buyer. Be sure to express your terms clearly, and more importantly warmly.

5. Don't Find a Niche

Most people will tell you to focus on a niche. I discovered from training hundreds of people that they would try and force items up because it was what they were partial to. 6. You Are Always Wrong

The negative feedback will cost you hundreds to thousands of dollars over time, you must fight to protect your feedback. The difference is fight with your own emotions, not the buyer

7. Be Friendly With eBay

Always be friendly with eBay and Paypal. It will seem to you at first that the terms and conditions are written in stone. They are not. The company is is segmented into many departments all around the world. Most of those departments are populated by 20 year olds. On many occasions, they don't know the rules, or are willing to break them to please you. However, the opposite holds true as well. These same employees are also eager to screw you so they can tell your story over beers that night.
