E. Michael Campbell, an internationally recognized nuclear scientist and strategist, has an experience of 30 years in national laboratories and high technology/energy companies with a proven record of program building, obtaining government funding, providing leadership, recruiting top scientific professionals and increasing revenues and profit margins.
From the years 1968 to 1972, E. Michael Campbell studied at the University of Pennsylvania. During all the semesters, he was on the Deans list and obtained full scholarship from the university for his excellence in academics. In the year 1972, Michael was a Fellow of the Guggenheim at Princeton University. He was also Charles Weisman Post-Doctorate Fellow in 1977. In the year 1980, Campbell became a Fellow of the American Physical Society, Division of Plasma Physics. During the time when Michael was a Program Leader for NOVA Experiments, NOVA became the premier high energy density scientific facility of its kind under his leadership. For his successful experiments in nuclear weapons research, Michael received Excellence in Weapons Science Award, DOE in 1989. In the subsequent year, E. Michael Campbell received Excellence in Plasma Physics Award, APS.
In addition, E. Michael Campbell was also conferred Edward Teller Award, American Nuclear Society in the year 1995, E.O. Lawrence Award in 1995, Leadership Award, Fusion Power Associates in 1996, and Fellow, European Institute of Physics in 2005.
