(Free-Press-Release.com) October 21, 2011 -- Chosen by a special Selection Committee comprising of professional associations from France, BLEU NATURE, with twenty other participating companies, represented the French Lifestyle with its designer driftwood furniture pieces, at the Art de Vivre à la Française, a French Lifestyle Event organized recently in New Delhi this year.

In just 15 years, designer Frank Lefebvre has succeeded in establishing, throughout the world, his truly unique furniture collections, light fixtures and decorative items made of driftwood combined with pebbles, metal, leather, hide, lacquered or petrified wood, under the brand name BLEU NATURE. Concerned with reducing its ecological footprint to a minimum, BLEU NATURE has sublimated the art of salvage and reclamation within the purest traditions of craftmanship.

Several times a year, the teams at BLEU NATURE set off to collect driftwood, thrown up on the shores by winds and tides. Once it has been brought into the workshop, the wood - which after having been in water, requires no treatment - gives birth to pieces that are unique in size and shape, thanks to the know-how of BLEU NATURE craftsmen and creators. The tortured look of this wood is conducive to creativity, and according to Nordic mythology, the first human beings - Ask and Embla - were made from two pieces of driftwood. His pieces trigger an emotional response through the imperfections of shape, the singularity of fragment or the simplicity of a curve.
