The Awards Program is designed to commend businesses across the nation for their strong business practices and contributions to the economy.

As quoted from the award letter from the US Chamber of Commerce, "We are proud to recognize your business’ success story and are impressed with your company’s accomplishments."

Ecycler was founded on the basis of three goals: 1) improving the environment, 2) enhancing the social value of recycling and 3) supporting local communities. In a recent transaction, for example, ten bags of aluminum cans—totaling about 2000 cans—was posted on ecycler’s Recycling Exchange. It did not take long for these cans to be claimed by a collector local to that community.

Award criteria were based on staff training and motivation, community involvement, customer service and business strategies & goals.
