Edible Arrangements® Reaches Out to Flood Victims in Pakistan

Wallingford, Connecticut, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) September 2, 2010 -- Edible Arrangements® is joining hands with some of the biggest international welfare organizations in the world to help bring relief to those affected by the recent floods in Pakistan. Edible Arrangements® and its franchisees are actively supporting the Pakistan Relief Assistance to help bring aid to over 3 million people who have lost their homes to massive flooding.

The floods have left thousands of people living under the open sky or in make shift camps and many are still waiting for aid to arrive. Edible Arrangements® is supporting Doctors Without Borders/Médecins, UNICEF, Oxfam and the American Red Cross Society; four of the leading international organizations that are bringing aid to the flood Victims.

Edible Arrangements® is also working with the Edhi foundation and Islamic Relief USA. The Edhi Foundation is one of the biggest welfare networks and the most trusted name in Pakistan when it comes to relief work. The Islamic Relief USA is a U.S. based organization that provides emergency disaster relief when and where it’s needed.
