Edmonton IT Solutions Company Donates Computer Hardware to Local Charity

January 25, 2011

AwareBase, an Edmonton IT solutions company, announced today the donation of laptops and monitors to Adoption Options, an Edmonton based charitable organization.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) January 25, 2011 -- Adoption Options is an organization that is devoted to educating people about adoption, including the legalities and options, and how it affects the lives of the adoptive parents, birth parents, the child and all those who are closest to the families. Says Diane Villett, Adoption Options Business Manager: “Adoption Options is truly grateful for this generous donation from AwareBase. Many of our computers and old CRT displays were on their last legs and in dire need of replacement.”

AwareBase makes frequent contributions to local Edmonton charities and Not-For-Profits helping them improve their productivity. Says Steven Gentles, AwareBase President and CEO: “Charities are no different than For-Profit companies in that they are always looking for ways to improve business efficiencies and productivity. Charities translate these improvements into more, or better, outcomes for the cause that they serve. Unlike monetary contributions and support, the donation of AwareBase solutions usually has a lasting impact and long term benefit for charities and Not-For-Profits.”

Says Madan Murthy, AwareBase Vice President of Marketing: “We first became aware of Adoption Options through one of our employees who was going through the adoption process. They got rave reviews from our employee, we had some surplus hardware and Adoption Options had a need to upgrade - we were happy to help.”
