Edmonton Mortgage Broker First Foundation Winner of Best Internet Presence at CMP Canadian Mortgage Awards

(Free-Press-Release.com) May 5, 2011 -- Edmonton, Alberta, May 4, 2011 - First Foundation Residential Mortgages, an Edmonton, Alberta based mortgage brokerage, announced today that it won the prestigious “Best Internet Presence” honour at the April 29th CMP Canadian Mortgage Awards.

“We’re ecstatic about the award and so thankful to CMP Magazine for putting on a great event once again,” said Gordon McCallum, First Foundation’s President. “We couldn’t have achieved this without the hard work of our team and partners - especially Bluetrain, Incite Marketing, and Lift Interactive.”

First Foundation was also a finalist for the category of “Mortgage Brokerage of the Year” for firms with fewer than 25 employees. “Unfortunately we weren’t able to win both categories this year, but every year we’re thankful for the nominations and votes we receive. We see these awards as a beginning, not an end, so it just means we have more work to do,” said McCallum.

The “Best Internet Presence” category was one of a few awards this year that included a judged component as well as a public voting component. This ensured that members of the industry and the public had a chance to voice their opinion on the firm most deserving of the award. Added McCallum, “We’re very grateful for the support of our clients, the general public and our peers in the industry for their support and we hope to use this honour as a platform for bigger and better things online.”
