Edouard back from Haiti, Returns with more Aid

(Free-Press-Release.com) February 17, 2010 -- I want to start off by thanking everyone who supported our effort to assist the people of Haiti. Your contributions are appreciated and they truly made a difference in people's lives.

I wasn't able to openly communicate back to the states like I hoped I would to update people on our progress due to communication still being unavailable in the areas where we focused our assist efforts. Still, rest assured that we worked diligently. Putting every donation to good use. We compiled a brochure that shows some of the damage of the country. The pictures are of things and places and people we personally encountered. We are distributing this brochure in an effort to increase public awareness of the country's plight and hope that it will serve as a tool to garner more support.

As I write this letter I am preparing to board a cargo plane headed back to Haiti with more support. I wanted to finish this letter a few days ago but have been engulfed in preparing for the second trip mustering everything I could find. By the time many of you read this I will already be on the plane or possibly in Haiti.

The second trip will be more elongated. As a matter of fact I have a proposed major fight coming up and have decided to setup my training camp on the island. This will allow our team to continue our relief efforts as well as me being able to continually train. I owe a lot to the people of Haiti and equally as much to the boxing community that has shown me love and support over my career. In that spirit, again, I ask for your support.
