Egg Donation Agency Goes Green!

Gifted Journeys, a Southern California egg donation agency, has committed itself to doing just that, and is working hard at being a good global citizen. From their Earth-friendly desks made from sustainable, recycled materials, Earth Tones long distance company, 100-percent recycled paper products (including hanging files, folders, envelopes, etc.), to their Macbook laptops made with recyclable aluminum and glass enclosures, Gifted Journeys has made a concerted effort to soften the environmental impact of such a unique and complicated business. Their project for 2010 ; installing solar panels to power their home office.

"Not only do we want to make this a better world for our own children, but also the children we help bring into this world through our program,” said Wendie Wilson, President of Gifted Journeys.

Wilson also said that there has been very positive reception from both egg donors and recipient parents who are searching for which egg donation agency to use.

"When you look at all of the different egg donation agencies that come up on the various search engines it can be overwhelming trying to decide which one to choose,” said Wilson. “On a daily basis we receive phone calls from both donors and recipients who have chosen our program based on our commitment to the environment."

Wilson hopes this commitment to eco-friendly practices reassures intended parents - and young women interested in egg donation - just how seriously Gifted Journeys takes its responsibilities.
