Eisenhower class of 1980 plans 30 year reunion at Myth Golf and Banquets in Oakland Twp.MI. July 31st, 7 to midnight

(Free-Press-Release.com) April 19, 2010 -- Eisenhower High school class of 1980 located in Washington Twp., Mi. chose the Myth location for their 30 year reunion. Myth Banquets was formerly known as Beaver Creek Golf Links .The banquet hall was selected because of its unique setting and elegant room.

The committee decided to stay away from local bars for their class reunion and take a chance that their guests would enjoy a cocktail and appetizer event with a disk jockey. Sending email and using Face book to spread the word has allowed the reunion committee to book over 100 guests before the spring.

With a growing reputation of fair prices and course improvements, the Myth seemed to be a nice fit.

Myth Banquets is off of Stoney Creek road, that runs West off of Rochester road between Buell and 32 Mile. The business is owned by Robert Vargo, who is the 15 year owner and operator of Bruce Hills Golf Club in Romeo.

In late 2007, Rob Vargo bought a neglected 18 Hole and Par 3 course named Beaver Creek in Oakland Michigan. He transformed it to the Myth which proved to many that he was a golf course owner that knew his business well.

The Myth is a unique 18 hole championship course featuring winding Boardwalk bridges winding through lush protected forests. The Myth promises to be one of the most adventurous and unique golf experiences in Lower Michigan.

Myth also features a separate par 3 course named the Little Myth. Par 3 green fees are only $8 seven days a week.
Junior golf instruction and classes begin in June. Kids can golf for free with a paid parent on "Kids Day" May 16th.

Myth Golf and Banquets features a formal knotty pine banquet hall that can host up to 225 seated guests and is perfect for Weddings, conferences and presentations. With the growing reputation of exceptional customer service and great pricing the Myth continues to book weddings and receptions as well as golf outings and fundraisers.

On May 9th Myth will hold a Mothers' Day Brunch with an 11 o'clock and 1 o'clock seating. Moms can golf free at any location by bringing in the golf coupon from the website.
