Visual Artists Elaine Lanoue and Guiteau Lanoue return to Florida in January to participate in various art exhibitions and festivals.
Their first exhibit will be in Boca Raton, Florida on January 2 and 3, 2010 at the Royal Palms Center near Mizner Boulevard. Over 100 artists will be present at this event.
Following this exhibit, they will set up their artwork display in Miami, Florida at the Beaux Arts Festival held at the Lowe Art Museum on the University of Miami grounds.
In February they will show their artwork on the west coast of Florida in Naples and Fort Myers, Florida and return President's Day weekend in February to exhibit at the Artigras Art Festival in Jupiter, Florida.
Guiteau Lanoue, a native of Port au Prince, Haiti, creates very dimensional artwork with cubist elements. His wife Elaine paints very bright contemporary folk art or outsider art on canvas. They have been creating artwork in their studio in Houston for over 25 years.
After exhibiting in five juried shows, they will return home to Houston, Texas to create more of their contemporary abstract and folk art.
