Electronics Recycler eco International Recovering from September 2011 Flooding
Electronics recycler, eco International and the surrounding community, continue to assess damage to buildings, roads, as well as phone, water and power outages brought by severe flooding.

eco International ‘s facility, located at 200 Stage Road in Vestal, NY, received approximately two feet of water damage due to historic flooding of the Susquehanna River which exceeded the flood levels of the “500 year flood” in 2006.
On Monday eco International’s CEO, John Matthews, said; “We are not planning on laying off any employees during the disaster clean up. Our office staff and production employees will maintain employment during our recovery clean-up”.
The corporate office staff has been relocated to a temporary location, in Vestal, while the facility undergoes clean up and renovations. Customers may contact eco International by email at recycle(at)ecointernational(dot)com, as phone lines have not been restored to the facility yet.
“We appreciate all of the support from the community and the understanding from our customers”, said Matthews. “Our operation will be open for receiving material tomorrow, with full production beginning Sunday night.”
