EI's new part-time weekend and night programs will allow students to graduate in 15 months. Qualifying students can also take advantage of their scholarship programs and financial aid. Furthermore, EI offers job placement assistance to all students and graduates.

EI is a makeup school that was established in 1966. It is the first school of professional makeup, and the first to be accredited by the Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). Their classes teach basic and corrective makeup and high-fashion photographic makeup as foundation courses. Their more complex makeup disciplines include live performance, film, and HDTV, as well as beginning theatrical prosthesis for character creation.
