Kennon Brown started writing inventory, accounting, and client tracking software for the PC in 1986 and says that ever since then he “had the bug, and uses technology to make every job better”. His passion for technology is demonstrated through his duties as the secretary of the Yonose Foundation, a non-profit organization that uses technology in creative ways to impact the living conditions and education of people around the world.
This Pennsylvania native made his way to the Central Coast after bicycling an incredible 6,400 miles in 2003-2004, but that is a whole other story. His two favorite things about the Central Coast are the beautiful places to ride his bike and the likelihood of having a good conversation with a stranger almost any time you are out and about. Kennon has a variety of artistic outlets, some of which include drawing and playing the Irish Flute. His work reflects his creative mind-set, as he is always able to come up with innovative solutions to every situation. His thirst for discovery may explain why is favorite quote is “The most exciting phrase to hear in science, the one that heralds new discoveries, is not Eureka! (I found it!) but rather, "hmm.... that's funny.... " - Isaac Asimov
