Elliott Announces Formation of Dedicated Steam Turbine Generator Team

(Free-Press-Release.com) September 25, 2009 -- Gary Davis, a 30-year veteran of the turbomachinery
industry has been named manager of Elliott Company’s newly formed Steam Turbine
Generator (STG) business team. In his new role, Davis will coordinate all aspects of
Elliott’s steam turbine technology, operation and maintenance services on powers up
to 40 MW.

Davis will report directly to Michael Lordi, Vice President of Industrial Products. “Gary
will lead our efforts to drive growth in the steam turbine generator market,” said Lordi.

“Opportunities for STG installations have been growing steadily, with clean technology
fueling the demand for alternative energy solutions from industries and institutions
focused on reducing their carbon footprint. Gary’s expertise and experience in power
generation during his 30-year tenure with Elliott make him uniquely qualified to direct
our efforts in this strategic market.”

Davis earned a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from Virginia Tech and
has held positions of increasing responsibility at Elliott including project engineering,

systems application engineering, projects team leader, manager of Air Separation, and
sales management for both the Industrial Products and the Engineered Products
business units. He is a member of the Turbomachinery Advisory Committee at Texas
A&M University’s Turbomachinery Laboratory (Turbolab).
