EMKR announced today that it has been awarded a solar panel manufacturing contract by ATK to utilize ZTJ solar cells in the new lightweight and highly-efficient ATK Ultraflex solar arrays. The solar panels will be used to power cargo delivery spacecraft for Orbital Sciences Corporation's Commercial Resupply Services (CRS) missions to the International Space Station (ISS).

EMKR offers a broad portfolio of compound semiconductor-based products for the broadband, fiber optic, satellite and solar power markets. TearLab Corporation (NASDAQ:TEAR)

TEAR announced today that it is in receipt of a communication from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration ("FDA") indicating that, based on a supervisory review of the Company's appeal, the Agency has granted its petition for a waiver under CLlA for the TearLab(R) Osmolarity System. Upon the Company's submission of labeling acceptable to the Agency, the CLIA waiver will be issued.
